6 Months in Arad: A Journey of Learning and Independence. It has been a month since I arrived in Arad, and in this short time, I have truly fallen in love with the city. It was exactly as I expected if not better! The people here are kind and welcoming, which has made my transition much smoother and more enjoyable.
Every week, I take a Romanian language class, which helps me learn new words and phrases and makes it easier for me to communicate with the local people. I have also met volunteers from different countries, giving me the chance to explore new cultures and exchange experiences. One of the things I have truly enjoyed is tasting new foods and discovering flavors I had never tried before.
This experience has made me more independent—I have learned how to manage my time and finances efficiently, and I have become more self-reliant in planning my daily life. Additionally, I have developed my cooking skills and can now proudly say that I am a skilled cook!
I cannot express enough gratitude to the organization that trusted me and gave me this valuable experience. I feel proud of what I have achieved in just one month, and I look forward to more learning and growth in the months ahead.
6 أشهر في أراد: رحلة من التعلم والاستقلالية. مرّ شهر منذ وصولي إلى أراد، وخلال هذه الفترة القصيرة، وقعت في حب المدينة حقًا. كانت تمامًا كما توقعت، إن لم تكن أفضل! الناس هنا طيبون ومرحّبون، مما جعل انتقالي أسهل وأكثر متعة.
كل أسبوع، أشارك في دورة لتعلم اللغة الرومانية، وهو ما يساعدني على تعلم كلمات وعبارات جديدة ويجعل التواصل مع الناس المحليين أسهل. كما التقيت بالمتطوعين من دول مختلفة، مما منحني فرصة لاستكشاف ثقافات جديدة وتبادل الخبرات. واحدة من الأشياء التي استمتعت بها حقًا هي تذوق أطعمة جديدة واكتشاف نكهات لم أكن قد جربتها من قبل.
لقد جعلتني هذه التجربة أكثر استقلالية تعلمت كيف أُدير وقتي ومالي بشكل فعال، وأصبحت أكثر قدرة على الاعتماد على نفسي في تنظيم حياتي اليومية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، طورت مهاراتي في الطهي وأصبح بإمكاني القول بفخر إنني أصبحت طاهية ماهرة!
لا أستطيع أن أعبر عن امتناني الكافي للمنظمة التي وضعت ثقتها بي ومنحتني هذه التجربة القيمة. أشعر بالفخر لما حققته في هذا الشهر فقط، وأتطلع إلى المزيد من التعلم والنمو في الأشهر
