Our ESC Volunteer Ali in Arad, Romania

My Volunteering Experience with the ESC Project in Arad, Romania! During my time as a volunteer with the ESC project in Arad, Romania, I discovered that non-formal education can be a highly effective way to stimulate young minds. Working with children through games, art programs, and creative activities was an incredible experience in both communication and education.

Even though I did not speak the local language, I found that I could communicate easily with the children using gestures and smiles. I learned that play and physical interaction can be powerful tools for both communication and learning.

The programs we designed for the children were diverse and exciting. From interactive games to art and creativity workshops, everything was structured to encourage young minds to learn and explore with confidence.
What amazed me the most was how the children responded to these programs. They participated with enthusiasm and curiosity, showing a genuine desire to learn and discover. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of non-formal education as a tool for inspiring young minds.

Beyond working with children, I also had the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn some Romanian. This was a fantastic way to immerse myself in the language and culture of Romania. Additionally, practicing English with other volunteers helped me improve my language skills.

Cultural exchange was another key aspect of my experience. I learned a lot about Romanian traditions and customs while also sharing my own culture with fellow volunteers. This helped foster mutual understanding and respect among different backgrounds.

Through my volunteering experience with the ESC project and YNDI organization, I have come to appreciate how non-formal education can be a powerful way to inspire and educate.

Working with children through creative programs was an enriching journey in communication and teaching. I also gained valuable insights into Romanian culture and language while exchanging experiences with other volunteers. I will always carry this experience with me and hope to apply its lessons in my daily life.

I am truly grateful to the ESC project and YNDI organization for this incredible opportunity. It was an eye-opening experience in non-formal education, cultural exchange, and personal growth. I will cherish these memories forever!

خلال تجربتي كمتطوع مع مشروع ESC في أراد، رومانيا، اكتشفت أن التعليم الغير رسمي يمكن أن يكون وسيلة فعالة لتحفيز العقول الشابة. العمل مع الأطفال على العاب وبرامج فن وبرامج ابداعية كان تجربة رائعة في التواصل والتعليم.

رغم أنني لم أتكلم اللغة المحلية، إلا أنني وجدت نفسي متواصلًا مع الأطفال بسهولة، مستخدمًا الإشارات والابتسامات. تعلمت أن اللعب والتفاعل الحركي يمكن أن يكونا وسيلتين فعالتين للتواصل والتعليم.
البرامج التي عملنا عليها مع الأطفال كانت متنوعة ومثيرة. من العاب التفاعلية إلى برامج الفن والابداع، كل شيء كان مصممًا لتحفيز العقول الشابة والشجاعة على التعلم والاكتشاف.

ما أدهشني هو كيفية استجابة الأطفال لهذه البرامج. كانوا يشاركون بكل حماس واهتمام، ويظهرون رغبة حقيقية في التعلم والاكتشاف. كان هذا تجربة رائعة في التعليم الغير رسمي، وكيفية استخدامه لتحفيز العقول الشابة.

بالإضافة إلى العمل مع الأطفال، كان لدينا أيضًا فرصة لتبادل الخبرات وتعلم اللغة الرومانية. كان هذا تجربة رائعة في تعلم اللغة والثقافة الرومانية. كما كان لدينا فرصة لممارسة اللغة الإنجليزية مع المتطوعين الآخرين، مما ساعدني على تحسين مهاراتي اللغوية.
تبادل الثقافات كان أيضًا جزءًا مهمًا من تجربتي. تعلمت الكثير عن الثقافة الرومانية والتعرف على العادات والتقاليد المحلية وعلى الثقافات الأخرى كما كان لدينا فرصة لمشاركة ثقافتنا مع المتطوعين الآخرين، مما ساعدنا على تعزيز التفاهم والاحترام المتبادل بين الثقافات.
