Objectives:
Goal of the project: is to develop the Life Center to help single children and mothers become one sustainable center, as well as to send a message of solidarity in the community using the mechanisms of the FB group “Ajutor pentru comunitate” (Help for the community) and of the FB Page “Voluntariat pentru comunitate” (Volunteering for the community).
Following the partnership developed by ANTER with ANDCTR and Life is better with friends within the ESC project “Think about the others ”implemented in 2019 and early 2020, the project team conducted an impact analysis or the needs resulting from the implementation of fundraising campaigns, finding that the most affected group vulnerable with whom I interacted is that of children coming from single-parent families with single mothers, having economic and educational difficulties.
Thus, the Life Center was born, which offers help to these groups disadvantaged. I consider that the most important thing is to develop and consolidate the actions of the center so that it becomes a sustainable landmark in the community and to offer help to a larger number of beneficiaries in this vulnerable category
Activity of the project:
The activity will consist in the development of the Life Help Center for children coming from single-parent families with single mothers, both in terms of material support through donations in organized campaigns and the delivery of workshops to complement the school, with a focus on developing skills of daily living (hygiene, social behavior, sexual and health education, etc.).
In order to ensure the sustainability of the volunteer center, they will continue the development of the “Help for the community” group in which people offer targeted help to clearly defined cases of children who need support by promoting their concrete needs associated with the mechanisms provided by the volunteer staff and infrastructure.
