Location: Cesky Tesin – Czech Republic
Duration: 1st September 2024 – 31st August 2025 (12 months).

Activities of the project:
– Children at risk: Working with socially excluded, marginalized children & youth mainly in the afternoon hours after school time.
– Children with disabilities: Diaconal schools & kindergartens for children & youth with mental or combined disabilities and autism.
– Adults with disabilities: Sheltered housing or socio-therapeutic workshops for people with mental or combined disabilities and autism, or with mental disorders.
– Elderly people: Sheltered housing for the elderly (50+) with memory problems, such as Alzheimer´s disease or vascular dementia.
– Children with disabilities: Physiotherapeutic programmes for children & youth with mental or combined disabilities and autism, aiming mainly on helping the target group to become independent in life.
– Substance users: The aim is to help adult substance users in their situation by preparing medical material, engaging in field work or providing support to them.

Profile of the volunteer:
– Highly motivated and interested in the topics of the project.
– Willing to involve in communities, talk to new people, make new friends.
– Willing to gain new skills and work in a team.
– English speaker.
– Aged between 18-30 years old.

-Accommodation provided.
– Local transportation: will be provided by the host.
– Financial Support: Allowance per month (food + pocket money).
-Travel: 360 Euro provided for international travel (round trip).
