We are looking for volunteers for European Solidarity Corps “ESC” project, that will be in Türkiye 1st December 2024 – 1st June 2025 (6 months).

Location: Gaziantep – Türkiye
Duration: 1st December 2024 – 1st June 2025 (6 months).

Profile of the volunteer:
– Between 18-30 years old.
– Resident of the sending country (Jordan).
– Creativity Skills.
– Technology Usage.
– Spirit of team work.
– Good time management.
– Open and interested in working with children, refugees and disadvantaged youth.
– Able to place this experience in a long-term perspective of personal and professional development;
– Willing to learn new working methods and develop the necessary skills for organizing inclusive activities.

Activities and trainings for volunteers during the project:
– Social Awareness Campaign; In order to improve the digital competences of our volunteers, we are implementing Social Awareness Campaign Activity in 3 phases. Social Awareness Campaign includes:
1. Creating Story 2. Camera Shooting 3. Editing The Video

– Non Formal Education.
Most of our activities has been implementing via Non-Formal Education Methods and it is necessary to teach volunteers basics of NFE. In this training our volunteers learning importance of NFE and designing their activities through it.

– Gamification Training.
Our target groups are children, refugees and disadvantaged youth. Classical system of education is not useful all the time. In order to get these people involve more we are designing our activities mostly with gamification methods. Our volunteers get training about gamification.

– Erasmus+ & ESC Framework Awareness.
By this awareness meeting our volunteers getting information about Erasmus+ & ESC Framework and being familiar about projects, system and opportunities. Our team shows and explain the system by non formal education methods.

*Other aspects:
– Accommodation – The institution has dormitories for boys and girls. Volunteers will stay in these dormitories. Rooms are for 2 persons (same gender). The rooms for volunteers are fully furnished with pillows, blankets, sheets, etc.
– Meals – 3 meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) will be provided to the volunteers, if you are vegetarian, vegan or lactose tolerant please inform us!
– Pocket money – you will receive a monthly pocket money.
– Local Transportation – shuttle buses will be provided for activities planned outside the institution.
– Internet – you will have access to internet at the accommodation and work place.
– International travel is covered according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator.
