The context of our project is one of experimental and intercultural learning, divided into 3 stages, participants in the 3 stages will test a well-defined and set of activities which will take place in Ajloun – Jordan (“learning by doing and interacting”). The non-formal education activities were configured to meet the needs/interests of the youngsters targeted by the selection process. The daily agenda of each of the 3 stages is structured so that through the activities, methods, and time-frame:
– To allow for the achievement of the set learning outcomes, and of the impact on the participating youth, as well as on the involved organizations, sending/hosting organizations, and on an international level.
– To allow the achievement of the set results (which also play a role in the learning process, as the youngsters will be directly involved, from planning to evaluation/report)
Objectives:
– Creating a dynamic reflection and debate space regarding practices that are responsible towards the environment.
– Building conscience regarding the environment, and opinions on eco-responsibility/ eco- solidarity/ eco-civic involvement, as well as building a friendly and inclusive framework to exchange these opinions.
– Adopting daily eco-responsible practices (component of education for active citizenship).
– Exploring interactions/synergies between the cultures represented in the project, and in the field of environment protection.
– Getting to know the conceptual frameworks of the Erasmus+ Program so that participants can capitalize on this program including in the context of accessing new learning opportunities.
Participants profile:
Young people aged 18 – 30 as follow:
Mobility #1: 26 – 30 years old.
Mobility #2: 22 – 26 years old.
Mobility #3: 18 – 22 years old.
Selection Criteria:
To have a strong motivation to participate in an environmental projects and knowing other cultures.
Fully commitment for the whole duration of the stage (14 days + nights) .
Completing a written application & Interview.
Wiling to bring an added value to the project’s activities.
Open to intercultural dialogue.
Open to international cooperation and follow up activities.
Agrees on the code of conduct.
