Our volunteer Mohammad in his 9-month volunteering

“Just make your life worth living”
From this quote my life start in Romania, exactly in Craiova. I’m Mohammad from Jordan and I’m Volunteer here since 9 months.

There is many ways to make your life worth, one of them is helping others and give them your time without ask for anything.

I realize how is beautiful helping people you don’t even know their names. The volunteer’s life full of energy and positive things. It gave me chance to have experience dealing with kids in schools, dealing with special needs, dealing with old people, community and more.

It gave me the pleasure to know the Romanian people how they are amazing people, how they always try make everything beautiful and make themselves happy with anything no matter the situation is. and how they welcoming the foreign people and provide the help even if they cannot speak with you because of the language. It gave me the chance to discover the Romanian culture and how it’s full with amazing and gorgeous details.

This journey gave me the chance also to discover myself, it pulled me out from the comfort zone, how I have to deal with problems alone, it was difficult for me got abroad at the beginning of the journey, every thing was new, you have to rely on yourself only.

I really advise everyone to be a volunteer, to give from your time to the community, to others and this will give you back a great experience for the life.
This Journey teach me a lot of things, it will be unforgettable experience. It made my life worth living as I mentioned at the beginning.
