Our ESC Volunteer Rinad in Craiova, Romania
Hello, this is Rinad Al Masri from Jordan, a 25 years old volunteer and youth leader in Jordan and internationally.
“If you want to find yourself, lose yourself in the helping others.”
My belief in this saying has always been reflected in my actions and in my contributions, and just as challenges are opportunities for growth and development, here I am today on a journey to develop another side of myself with YNDI in Romania, in the city of Craiova, to help refugee children who need help so that the future will have more loyal, friendly and honest people.
Of course, the picturesque nature of Romania made me very eager to visit it, and the presence of people from different countries and cultures gave me the opportunity to get to know their cultures and languages better and also helped me build beautiful friendships.
I believe that this experience will change my life, and I started it and I am very happy about it, and I am proud that I am an international volunteer with the European Solidarity Corps ESC, and this places on me the responsibilities of leaving my positive impact and making a change in the lives of the Ukrainian refugees who are in the city of Craiova and integrating them into the community there. In it and enhancing their concept of belonging.
