Our ESC Volunteer Anas in Baia Mare, Romania

Hello I’m Anas from Jordan. I volunteered for a long time with animal shelters inside and outside Jordan. For me this the first time in Romania in the beautiful city of Baia Mare.

I choose Romania because I heard a lot about their interesting culture and stunning nature.
At first, I was afraid a little bit about moving to another country where I don’t know anyone, but the YNDI helped me with everything. I made contact with volunteers there and they told me everything I wanted to know about the city. It’s very beautiful to see the acceptance and the support from the people here it makes you always want to give more.

Volunteering is not just to give or help the others it’s also about learning about new cultures to see how different yet similar we are. And just remember you always can help even if it’s little.

مرحبا انا انس من الأردن. تطوعت لفترة طويلة مع ملاجئ الحيوانات داخل وخارج الأردن. بالنسبة لي هذه هي المرة الأولى في رومانيا في مدينة بايا ماري الجميلة.

اخترت رومانيا لأنني سمعت الكثير عن ثقافتها المثيرة للاهتمام وطبيعتها المذهلة. في البداية كنت خائفًا قليلاً من الانتقال إلى بلد آخر لا أعرف فيه أحداً، لكن YNDI ساعدتني في كل شيء. لقد تواصلت مع متطوعين هناك وأخبروني بكل ما أريد معرفته عن المدينة. من الجميل جدًا أن ترى القبول والدعم من الناس هنا، فهذا يجعلك ترغب دائمًا في تقديم المزيد.

لا يقتصر العمل التطوعي على تقديم المساعدة للآخرين فحسب، بل يتعلق أيضًا بالتعرف على ثقافات جديدة لمعرفة مدى اختلافنا وتشابهنا. وتذكر فقط أنه يمكنك دائمًا المساعدة حتى لو كانت صغيرة.
