Our ESC Volunteer Abed Alrahman in Baia Mare, Romania

From Jordan to Romania. Abed Alrahman Almahasneh a 28 years old veterinarian live in Jerash and, God willing, I will begin my new volunteer journey that aims to build a better society in the Romanian city of Baia Mare within the European Solidarity Corps programs that employ the enthusiasm and spirit of young people from 18 to 30 years old.

To direct their energy towards volunteering, in cooperation with the Jordanian YNDI organization as sending and supportive organization that closely follows the affairs of its volunteers in more than one country.

Our main mission in this program is to implement and build events and activities that will develop the local community and the environment, bearing the responsibility of representing Jordan in the best way, God willing. I was amazed by the beauty of Romania and saw the beautiful Danube River that crosses Bucharest, the capital, and provides it with life and greenery. After that, I took a 12-hour train trip to my destination, which was the city of Baia Mare. It was a unique experience in all its details, as nature and beauty were the most distinctive element of this trip.

Upon my arrival, I got to know the other volunteers with their different cultural backgrounds and nationalities, my journey is still at the beginning, and I am very excited about what is coming.

I wish for me and all the volunteers success and achieving all the goals of this wonderful project.

من أرض النشامى إلى أرض الجمال رومانيا ، عبد الرحمن المحاسنة طبيب بيطري وعمري 28 سنة ، أعيش في جرش وإن شاء الله سأبدأ رحلتي التطوعية الجديدة التي تهدف لبناء مجتمع أفضل في مدينة باياماري الرومانية ضمن برامج فيلق التضامن الأوروبي التي توظف حماسة وانطلاقية الشباب من عمر 18 إلى 30 سنة لتوجيه طاقاتهم نحو العمل التطوعي.

وذلك بالتعاون مع منظمة YNDI الأردنية باعتبارها منظمة داعمة تتابع عن كثب شؤون متطوعيها في أكثر من دولة ، مهمتنا الأساسية في هذا البرنامج هي تنفيذ وبناء الفعاليات والأنشطة التي من شأنها تطوير المجتمع المحلي والبيئة ، حاملين مسؤولية تمثيل الأردن بأفضل صورة إن شاء الله .

لقد انبهرت بجمال رومانيا ورأيت نهر الدانوب الجميل الذي يعبر العاصمة بوخارست ويمدها بالحياة والخضرة ، بعدها كانت رحلتي بالقطار ل12 ساعة نحو وجهتي وهي مدينة باياماري ، كانت تجربة فريدة بكل تفاصيلها حيث كانت الطبيعة والجمال العنصر الاميز في هذه الرحلة ، وعند وصولي تعرفت على المتطوعين الاخرين بخلفياتهم الثقافية والحضارية المختلفه وما زالت قصتي في بدايتها.
