Volunteering Teams project “UNITY” Virtual Exhibition;
The project aimed at facilitating the help and support of refugees children/youth affected by war with the help of local youth, while raising awareness about the importance of a home and the feeling of belonging.

The project included volunteers from Romania, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Jordan.
The volunteers has engaged in an activity called “Giant Doll House,” where they built doll houses using shoeboxes. This creative exercise was designed to make people reflect on their own living environments and raise awareness about homelessness and refugee issues.

Objectives:
– Capacitate 60 youngsters with competences to become actively involved in their sending communities in the work of alleviating the needs of refugees or displaced people.
– Give 10 local refugees/asylum seekers the chance to do ESC and contribute in problem alleviation of their peers, while gaining competences that will be useful personal, educational social development.
– Creating a network of prepared NGO’s to tackled through the EQUIP approach wider impact in diminishing problem faced by children/youth refugees Europe.
– Raise awareness about the importance of community involvement in the situation of the refugees, especially in regards to children/youth, through the virtual exhibitions “Giant Doll’s House”.
