Scale Events About the ESC Volunteering Teams Project “InSport”
YNDI has implemented last month some small scale events about the European Solidarity Corps / Volunteering Teams project “InSport” in Al-Tafila and Amman governorates!
Key Topics Covered: The events covered the following key topics:
1. Introduction to the InSport volunteering teams project, including how to apply and the selection criteria.
2. Overview of the Erasmus Plus and European Solidarity Corps (ESC), including information on who can take part, how it is organized, and the role of Erasmus+ national agencies.
3. Providing attendees with valuable insights and practical knowledge related to the volunteering project and ESC in general.
4. Questions and discussions about the project or the program.
Inquiries and Feedback: Throughout the workshops, participants actively engaged in discussions and raised inquiries regarding the details of ESC and the volunteering project. Their feedback was valuable in enhancing their understanding and addressing any concerns they had.
Project Objectives:
– Empower 50 volunteers with personal and professional skills in order to become active and responsible members in their communities.
– Increasing with at least 50% the knowledge of 100 youth and children / small city towards a healthy lifestyle approach, by developing an understanding of the need for sport activities in their daily life, during 4 weeks of coordinated activities.
– Increase the number of children and youth that will become regular local volunteers and active ambassadors of healthy lifestyle and sport activities in the community with at least 20 volunteers/location.
