Cultural Mosaic: Steps to Education
Today, the Muzeul Cărții și Exilului Românesc volunteers within the Școala Anghelos Center, together with the partners from Andctr from Craiova and Voluntariat pentru comunitate , organized a remarkable event dedicated to the celebration of the World Education Day.
The event titled Cultural Mosaic: Steps to Education, held in the Multimedia Hall of the museum, brought together volunteers and partners from Romania, Italy, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan and Spain, who had the opportunity to share with Romanian students essential elements of their cultures.
Participants explored together cultural diversity in an interactive workshop, where pupils of Anghelos Primary School discovered traditional greetings, sights, curiosities and dishes specific to each country. Every interaction brought to the forefront the importance of intercultural dialogue and global understanding.
Students were challenged to identify and explore cultural motives specific to each represented country, contributing to creating a truly multicultural mosaic that will remain a source of inspiration for generations to come. Through these activities, they learned to appreciate cultural differences and had the unique opportunity to enrich the Romanian educational heritage with new and valuable knowledge.
This event, held in collaboration with international volunteers and local partners, highlights the importance of education as a bridge between peoples, bringing communities around the world closer together.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and who continues to support global and multicultural education. This is just a first step in building stronger bonds between our youth and the world around them!
