A Session Representing Jordan
Today we made a small session representing my country Jordan, which is an Asian Middle Eastern country.
Jordan’s spoken language is Arabic and the mainstream religion is Islam and with 4% of the population are Christians, the capital city is Amman, the country was independent in 1946.
Jordan was full of different civilization since the early stone era, and its special location that links between south and north east and west made it reach of different civilization over the time.
The variety of people in the society made it very rich of cultures, foods and clothes. The main traditional food is Mansaf, which is made of special kind of dried yoghurt, meet, rice and bread. There are several dances but the most common one is Dabkah.
There are very famous places that people come from all over the world to visit like Petra, dead sea and Aqaba, and people in Jordan are very kind and hospital.
