YNDI Participation in the Seminar on Inclusive Hackathon Design in Caussade, France

YNDI took part in the Inclusive Hackathon Design seminar in France organized by Solidarité Jeunesse and MakeHerSpace, 3rd to 8th December 2024.

The training provided practical tools for organizing inclusive events, with a focus on combating stereotypes and increasing accessibility.

Participants analyzed case studies and co-developed a framework for a Hackathon planned for Spring 2025, aimed at ensuring diverse and meaningful participation.

The training aimed to:
– Raise awareness of the issues of inclusion in collaborative events and collective environments.
– Share tools and practices to combat stereotypes and discrimination.
– Enable participants to acquire skills in organizing inclusive events.
– Co-construct concrete solutions to encourage the participation of diverse audiences.

The intention of this training is to identify the keys to ensure that each event is an experience of inclusion and collective intelligence, enriched by the contributions of the seminar participants.
