Our ESC Volunteer Ahmad in Arad, Romania
Hello! My name is Ahmed, from Jordan, I hold a master’s degree in Human Resources Management, I set out couple of weeks ago through the (YNDI) community to Arad – Romania, to participate in the (ESC) program. I work in the field of development projects (economic, social, political, cultural, agricultural and environmental projects). My talent is cooking and learning different languages, cultures, customs and traditions of other peoples and adventures. And because I have a love and faith in volunteering, I participated last year in the cultural exchange program (Erasmus+) in Jordan with friends from several countries. I still have the passion and belief in volunteering and developing local rural communities, hence the city of Arad (a quiet rural city with good people) in great Romania.
Indeed, the journey of learning, knowledge, volunteering, new adventures, and getting to know new people and skills began. I worked with a group of volunteers to implement many different activities with children and adolescents, with the aim of investing their energies and strengthening their attachment to education. The journey is still in its infancy, and I am looking forward to a lot of learning, knowledge, skills and adventures, and transferring my great experience to the local community in my country, Jordan.
