Mohammad, Our ESC Volunteer in Craiova, Bals – Romania
Hello I am Mohammad, from Jordan, 26 years old, and I am a volunteer within the “YNDI” community, with the program “InSport” following with execution in Balș/Craiova – Romania.
I want today, with pleasure, to leave you a reflection and part of the outputs of this special and pleasant experience, to try to mention the most important details, and I hope to leave its positive effect on you.
In recent years I have been very aware that my passion for volunteering is a natural invitation, which must be followed, and this intuitive idea was consolidated after my volunteering in a project “InSport”, this unique opportunity following was a qualitative addition to my experiences, helped me develop in different areas, not just project objectives, it went beyond that, So that I expanded my understanding of how to prepare my future life goals, and it helped me with intellectual growth and skill by serving me in my work in community development, also helped me build a network of relationships with intellectual backgrounds and different cultures and experiences with the following people in my surroundings from different communities and countries The greatest impact and the most interactive part were through the activities, events and visits we spent with young participants, the region’s residents and the local community in Balș, and there’s a lot of detail that’s long spoken about, has given me the advantage of having the most important experience in my life.
My experience in “InSport” is short-term, but its output will be long- term, Soon I will return to my country, and I will carry with me a wonderful experience, full of knowledge, skills and new resources. I hope I invest these outputs, and to strive through every opportunity to convey my experience to my peers in society, to motivating them to engage in new experiences, volunteering to provide their services to any community or place where they are, and to remind them that the following service they provide to build and develop their communities will always bring them deeper expertise.
