Dissemination of InSport Activities

InSport mobility is coming to an end, today the event of the dissemination of its activities takes place during the Closing Conference.

The event was a real success, with volunteers and young people from the implementation communities present in the hall as well as numerous young people from Craioven interested in the project and how they can become ESC volunteers.

Each of the volunteer groups presented their activities and successes, exchanged experiences and gave the event a new mark “We did it!”.

InSport is a project financed through the European Commission’s High Priority Volunteering Teams program, deployed for 40 days in Filiasi, Calafat, Bechet and Bals.

The activities in the communities were:
A1. Mapping of human and logistics resources of communities (sports fields, parks, community support persons, informal spaces with youth work potential).
A2. Raising awareness of community members on the importance of children and young people taking up sport through local public activities and information sessions.
A3. Raising awareness in the community about the needs of young people and the benefits of social inclusion.
A4. Development of a curriculum of sports activities for social inclusion aimed at young people and children from communities with limited potential, both infrastructure and opportunities, as well as the pilot of these methods within mobility.
A5. Organizing a final event in each community, with the participation of relevant stakeholders in the community, on analyzing the project impact.

The 50 volunteers involved come from Turkey, Jordan, Italy, Georgia and Romania.
